Aquatic Therapy uses the healing properties of water combined with the knowledge and training of our staff to allow patients to begin therapy sooner and improve faster with less pain and strain on the injured body part.

  • Prescription for Aqua or Physical Therapy
  • Photo ID
  • Insurance Card
  • Alternate payment method if needed
  • Physical Therapy: comfortable clothes (shorts, T-shirt, sweats) and sneakers
  • Aqua Therapy: Swim suit, water shoes, towel

You MUST shower prior to entering the pool, no exceptions. It is also recommended that you shower after leaving the pool to prevent any possible irritation to the skin. The temperature of the pool is approximately 92° Fahrenheit. You may feel chilled following aqua therapy, so bring a towel and a dry change of clothes. Please be sure to come to the pool well hydrated. Bring a bottle of water with you so can keep it poolside. Please inform the physical therapist if you feel ill before, during or after your session. The pressure of the water forces fluids out of your body tissues and into your bloodstream. You may experience the urge to urinate during your session. Please use the restroom before entering the pool.

 

We have a Hoyer lift chair to easily and safely assist you in getting into and out of the pool

No, Our heated Hydroworkx Therapy pool has multiple depths for different levels of submersion and buoyancy, however the deepest level is 4'6" so knowing how to swim is not necessary
